Left Hand Stratocasster - The "Angel"...
This one's a no-brainer. I'm a rabid Hendrix fan. I need say no more. But I will. Jimi wore a regular Strat upside down and strung left handed so I figured I'd mirror that. Pretty straight forward with stock hardware (lefty) and left hand wound pickups (I don't know if it makes a difference but I figure I've come this far...). The whacked part of this build is that I've decided to paint the entire guitar white...fingerboard, neck,everything. A poplar body on this one, which makes for a very light and open sounding guitar. The bright and relatively low output pickups are a nice balance on a darker sounding body. The end result is a very clean sounding instrument with the ability to push a loud amp without running away from you. I understand now why you don't see many painted fingerboards. It's WAY too much work...
