Mousecaster...
I've always wanted a Telecaster but for some reason never made the leap. I always had that country twang sound in my head (not that it's a bad thing) but always liked the way that the old ones (especially the natural and blondes) looked. I set out to create a good sounding guitar that looked like a 50's tele, complete with maple neck, amber tinted natural finish (to look like old lacquer), and a black single layer pick guard. This was my first build so it seemed fitting that it should be named after one of my favorite people...my wife. She put up with all my crap when things didn't really go as planned, and at the same time read me the riot act when I spent 20 hours straight in the shop trying to figure out why things didn't go as planned. Look closely on the peghead photo and you can see the little mouse caricature. The guitar is a collection of ebay and "Stewart-MacDonald" parts and pieces.
